Once you’ve fulfilled the requirements, you’ll unlock the Portal item, which will allow you to travel to the Forgotten Kingdom.
Now, to get the Fireite Ore, you need to mine the Volcanic Rocks, which can be found deep within the Volcanic Depths. However, Fireite is a Legendary-tier ore and is extremely rare, with a drop rate of just 1 in 2187. So, get your hands on this ore if you are up for late-game crafting, as they provide some of the strongest weapon upgrades in the game.
Because Volcanic Rock is incredibly tough, you’ll need a pickaxe with at least 100 base mining damage. Volcanic Rock in The Forge – Location & Details
The Volcanic Rock can only be mined from Volcanic Depths, which is situated beneath the Ruined Caves of the Forgotten Kingdom. To get to this area, you need to head to the Ruined Cave first. Once you enter the cave, take the right path that takes you through the Ashen Passage.
Then, look to your right, and you’ll find an Amber NPC standing right beside the Magma Pickaxe. To the NPC’s right, you’ll see a Basalt Vein formation that can be broken only using a 78-plus mine power pickaxe. Once you break it, you’ll enter the Volcanic Depths. Now go through each corner to find Volcanic Rocks to mine for.
Since Fireite has an extremely low drop chance, a more efficient farming method is to chip away at Volcanic Rock until it reaches around 1000 HP. At that point, check whether a Fireite ore is visible inside the node. If it appears, go ahead and break the rock to claim it; if not, let the rock fully reset before attempting to mine again.
