    Key Takeaways

    • To unlock the Goblin Cave in The Forge, reach the Forgotten Kingdom after level 10 and complete Sensei Moro’s prologue quest.
    • Speak to the Goblin King after navigating through town to begin five quests that require you to gather gold and various ores.
    • Tasks increase in difficulty, needing larger sums of gold and rarer ores like Topaz and Ruby, which drop at low rates from Basalt rocks.
    • Use Luck Potions to improve your chances of collecting rare ores and consider crafting lower-value ores into items for profit.
    • Completing the Goblin King’s quests grants experience and a key to enter the Goblin Cave, where you can find more ores and complete additional quests.

The Forge is a new Roblox experience and has generated a buzz among many with its creativity. The game is a perfect blend of mining, weapon crafting, and combat, making resource management and combat integral to the game. The initial days are humble, but by collecting ores, forging powerful weapons and armor, and mastering the fighting mechanics, you’ll become stronger and better.

While also progressing through the game, you’ll also unlock many new locations that are essential for attaining many new ores or items. One such area is the Goblin Cave. This location is the best when it comes to late-game content, but unlocking it is not as easy as you think. So, to help you out, here’s a complete guide to the Goblin cave and how to unlock it in The Forge.

So, to gain access to the Goblin Cave, you need to reach the Forgotten Kingdom, which unlocks only after level 10 and after the completion of Sensei Moro’s prologue quest in Stonewake’s Cross.

Upon arrival, follow the path that leads through the town. Eventually, when you reach the Forge, take a left. After that, continue forward until you notice two orcs standing with their axes crossed over the entrance to an encampment on your right.

At this point, you can walk directly between the two orcs. Moving ahead, you will soon lay your eyes on the Goblin King, the face of whom you’ll despise sooner or later. Finally, approach this cunning ruler’s throne and speak to him to begin the quest.

All Goblin King Quests In The Forge

To unlock the Goblin Cave, you need to complete a set of five successive quests, which the Goblin King will give. These quests involve bringing gold and various types of ores, which can be obtained from the caves of the Forgotten Kingdom. Below, we’ve listed all the Goblin King Quests that you need to complete to enter the Goblin Cave in The Forge.

      TaskRequirement
First TaskBring $5,000 Gold to the Goblin King
Second TaskBring $10,000 and 3 Topaz to the Goblin King
Third TaskBring $15,000 and 5 Diamonds to the Goblin King
Fourth TaskBring $20,000 and 5 Emeralds to the Goblin King
Final TaskBring $25,000 and 5 Ruby to the Goblin King

Each subsequent quest will require you to collect rarer ores and increasingly larger sums of gold. Fortunately, all of the needed ores can be obtained from a single source. To begin, you must mine Basalt Core rocks until you have gathered the necessary materials. Once you have the ores and the corresponding amount of coins, return to the Goblin King to complete each task.

However, mining rare ores won’t be easy. Every time you mine a Basalt Core rock, there is only a 1 in 143 chance of finding Topaz, a 1 in 192 chance of uncovering a Diamond, and a 1 in 363 chance of obtaining an Emerald. The odds are quite low, but using Luck Potions is highly recommended, as they boost your chances by 20%.

So, for gathering Ruby ores, you’ll need to shift your efforts to the Basalt Veins. Again, Luck Potions will help improve your chances, as Ruby has just a 1 in 487 drop rate. It’s recommended to use the Mythril Pickaxe, which is available for $67,500 at the Forgotten Kingdom Pickaxe Shop. Although it’s a steep price, it ultimately becomes a worthwhile investment thanks to its great ROI. Below, we’ve also mentioned its stats.

Additionally, while mining, you will naturally collect many other ores of lower value. Instead of selling them, it is better to clear out your inventory by smelting those extra materials in the Forge. Crafting items like Heavy Helmets and Heavy Chestpieces will significantly increase their resale value, allowing you to easily earn around 1,000 coins if you complete the forging process.

All Rewards from Goblin King Quest in The Forge

Once you complete the quest, you’ll receive a significant experience boost, but the true reward awaits on the Goblin King’s throne. After he’s satisfied with your offerings, he’ll flee with them, and you’ll discover a key lying in his throne. Just pick it up and use it to unlock the door located just to the right of his throne.

Once opened, the door leads into the Goblin Cave, which is a new area filled with additional ores for you to mine. More importantly, this is where you’ll encounter Tomo’s Cat, which is essential for completing the Tomo NPC Quest.
