The initial days are humble, but by collecting ores and forging powerful weapons and armor, you will become more formidable and powerful.

While forging weapons and armor makes you stronger, the pickaxes, potions, and various enhancements make your journey a lot smoother. To obtain them, you’ll need to spend money, and earning money is not as easy as you think. So, to help you out, here’s a complete guide to making money fast in The Forge.

Money in The Forge doesn’t come easy. You need to grind hours and hours, and even after that, it can seem like you haven’t made anything. Gladly, there are some tips and tricks that you can follow that will surely boost your money-making capabilities.

      By Completing Quests

Quests are an integral part of The Forge. By completing quests, you’ll earn a ton of XP and money, which can be very useful, especially if you’re looking forward to progressing.

While the limited quests give a decent boost of money, the recurring tasks are where the true long-term profits come from. To begin with, you’ll find three NPCs in the Forgotten Kingdom and two more inside the cave at Stonewake’s Cross, all of whom consistently provide repeatable missions.

These quests typically involve mining specific ores or taking down designated enemies. As soon as you fulfill their requests, the NPCs will reward you with a generous payout, making these tasks a reliable way to keep your cash flow steady.

      By Completing Location Exclusive Quests

Certain quests are exclusive to a specific location and can reward you handsomely once they’re completed. Multiple NPCs have different quests that require you to complete a certain objective or action. Once you complete this type of quest, you get more XP and money, which you can then use to buy pickaxes or potions.

As a matter of fact, these NPCs are situated on both islands, and you need to find and interact with them to begin the quest. Just complete whatever the quest demands you to, and you’ll receive a good amount of money once it’s complete.

      By Forging & Selling Equipment

Another alternative worth trying is forging and selling equipment. While you’re mining in the caves, you’ll get certain ores, which are useless or decrease the weapon’s overall value. Instead of selling these ores, you can use them to craft weapons and armor, which you can then sell to earn major profit. However, it is recommended to craft weapons in the Forge area, as it gives more value.

So, at first, collect a solid batch of uncommon and rare ores. Then, head back to the forging area and start turning those resources into profit. However, when crafting weapons, stick to weapons such as the Battle Axes or Colossal Swords, which are the most valuable, since anything below that doesn’t offer a worthwhile payout.

Chestplates also generate a decent amount of money. Just load the recipe with the same ore type until it upgrades into a Medium Chestplate or Heavy Chestplate, as these versions sell for much more without requiring any extra effort. Meanwhile, skip the high-HP rocks, as they take longer to break and drop the same ores, which aren’t worth the time investment.

Additionally, if you manage to reroll into races like Dwarf or Goblin, the money-making process becomes significantly easier.

By Collecting from the Index Tab

If you’ve discovered new ores, fought new enemies, or made a new weapon, you can earn a ton of money and XP by doing that too. To earn fee money and XP, head to your stash by pressing the ‘T’ button. Then, click on the ‘Index’ tab, and you’ll find three sections marked. Go through each section and claim anything by clicking on it that has been discovered.

So, if you’re a wanderer or an explorer, it’s high time that you check this out, as you can have stored up a lot of money, which you can use to buy new items for better progression. It’s not a trick that you can utilise every time, but it’s still worth a try.

      By Using Better Pickaxe

You start with a basic pickaxe in Stonewake’s Cross, but there are always better ones to choose from. So, save up some money and don’t rush. Invest in a better pickaxe rather than just upgrading it instantly. Better pickaxes often cost more, but they also smash rocks the fastest and have a higher chance to drop rare ores from mining.

Moreover, place a few totems near the entrance of the Cave, then drink a Mine Potion and begin breaking Basalt Rocks. With this setup, you’ll quickly gather enough materials with your pickaxe to craft or sell high-weight gear long before your wallet starts to shrink.

      Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

      1. What is the fastest way to earn money in The Forge?

Completing recurring quests from NPCs in the Forgotten Kingdom and Stonewake’s Cross is the most consistent and profitable method.

      2. Should I sell ores directly or craft equipment first?

Crafting equipment is better. Turning uncommon and rare ores into high-tier weapons or chestplates gives a much higher payout than selling raw materials.

      3. Which weapons should I craft for the highest profit?

Focus on Battle Axes or Colossal Swords, as lower-level weapons don’t sell for enough to be worthwhile.

      4. How can I increase my mining efficiency?

You should invest in a better pickaxe, place totems near cave entrances, and use a Mine Potion to farm Basalt Rocks quickly and collect valuable resources, making you faster and efficient.
