The Forge is a new Roblox experience and has generated a buzz among many with its creativity. The game blends mining, weapon crafting, and combat, making resource management and combat integral to the game. However, to mine these ores, you’ll need better armor to survive in the dangerous caves of The Forge.

Speaking of armors, many can be crafted with an infinite number of combinations. With hundreds of different ores to choose from and multiple outcomes, it can be a bit daunting, especially for beginners. So, to help you choose the best, here’s a complete guide to all the best Armor Recipes and how to craft them in The Forge.

How to Craft Armor in The Forge

In The Forge, forging strong armor begins with gathering ores, as every piece of armor originates from the ores you mine. Each ore you mine can be determined by several key attributes, like rarity, multiplier, and sometimes special traits. The multiplier plays a central role, as it improves the base statistics of the forged armor.

To craft armor, you need to head to the Forge area and then put in the ores you want to use to craft the armor. Then, you have to play three minigames, which will determine the quality and value of your craft. Moreover, the rarity and type of ores you choose influence the item’s stats, weight, and overall quality, meaning stronger ores create stronger gear.

Naturally, rarer ores tend to have higher multipliers, which makes them more desirable when you aim for powerful gear. When you mix different ores during forging, the game computes the final multiplier as the average of the multipliers of all ores used.

Some ores carry special traits, like passive buffs such as extra HP, damage boosts, or other bonuses. To have these traits applied to your forged armor, that ore must make up a certain portion of your total alloy. Aside from ore quality and traits, armor is further classified by Light, Medium, and Heavy categories.

Heavier armor pieces, such as the Heavy Helmet, Heavy Chestplate, and Heavy Leggings, generally provide much stronger boosts to HP and defense compared to Light or Medium. Below, we’ve mentioned all the best armor recipes that you can craft according to your requirements in The Forge.

      All Early Game Recipes

These recipes offer a decent way to get medium-to-heavy armor early on without needing the rarer, hard-to-get ores. However, the lower multiplier means it won’t rival end-game gear, but it’s perfect for early to mid-game progression.

      All Mid Game Recipes

Epic recipes offer a significantly stronger armor set compared to Rare, with high chances of Heavy pieces, and good trait bonuses. Use these if you’ve started collecting better ores.

      All Late Game Recipes

      Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

      1. How do you craft armor in The Forge?

To craft armor, go to the Forge area and combine ores inside the crafting interface. You’ll then play three minigames that determine the final quality and value of the armor. The stats depend on the ores and performance during crafting.

      2. What makes heavier armor better?

Heavy Chestplates and Heavy Helmets offer much higher defense and HP boosts compared to Light or Medium variants. They are ideal for surviving deeper caves and tougher enemies.

      3. How do traits work in armor crafting?

Some ores contain traits such as increased vitality, movement speed, or extra damage. To activate these traits on armor, the ore included should be 30% of the total ores for maximum effect.

      4. Why do different ores change the armor stats?

Every ore has a rarity and multiplier value. Higher rarity ores usually provide stronger stat multipliers.
