Grow A Garden is a popular Roblox experience where you can grow plants, raise pets, and use powerful mutations to increase crop value. Recently, the Corrupt Mutation was added in Grow A Garden, which is tied to the new Corrupted Zen Event.

To get the Corrupted Mutation, you should play the Corrupted Aura event, which applies this mutation automatically on your plants. So, this complete guide will show you every possible way to get the Corrupt Mutation and how it boosts your garden.

To get the Corrupt Mutation, you need to participate in the Corrupted Aura weather event. This event can occur during the first 10 minutes of every hour, replacing the usual Zen Aura. When the event activates, the sky turns red and red orbs float toward your crops.

You can get Corrupt mutations in three ways:

      1. Corrupted Aura Weather Event: During the Corrupted Update, this weather event will begin randomly in your garden every hour and last for 10 minutes.
      2. Corrupt Channeller Tree: You can find the Corrupt Channeller Tree in the central area. To level up this tree, you need to complete the Corrupted Zen quests. The tree resets every hour. When this happens, the height that you grow it to gives your plants the Corrupt Mutation.
      3. Corrupt Kodama Pet: This limited pet gives fruits from Zen Seed Packs a small chance to get the Corrupt mutation during harvest. You can get this pet from the Corrupted Zen quests as well.

      Corrupt Mutation Buffs And Effects

Corrupt Mutation has one of the most powerful multipliers among regular mutations in Grow A Garden. It multiplies your crop’s sell value by 20x, making even mid-tier plants sell for a decent amount. If a rare or huge crop receives it, you can earn millions of Sheckles in one harvest.

Certain weather events in Grow A Garden are not random but are activated directly by game admins. These special occasions usually celebrate updates or community milestones and introduce exclusive mutations. Each of these mutations comes with exceptionally high multipliers.

Best Mutations In Grow A Garden

When it comes to permanent mutations in Grow A Garden, the most valuable one by far is the Celestial Mutation, which provides an extraordinary x120 multiplier to your fruits. However, unlocking it is entirely dependent on encountering a Meteor Shower, which can only take place once Nightfall begins each hour.

Following Celestial in value are the Shocked and Rainbow Mutations, both providing significant boosts to your crop’s value. The Rainbow Mutation is exceptionally rare but doesn’t require any particular weather event, it can happen entirely at random.

Meanwhile, the Shocked Mutation becomes available during Thunderstorms. To increase your chances of obtaining it, you can place a Lightning Rod near your crops, which attracts lightning bolts that have the potential to trigger the mutation.

      Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

      1. How often does the Corrupted Aura event happen?

It has a chance to occur at the start of every hour and lasts for 10 minutes. You can recognize it by the red sky and floating red orbs.

      2. Can I control which plant gets the Corrupt Mutation?

No. The mutation is random, but planting high-value crops and standing near the Event Hub during the Aura helps guide orbs toward your garden.

      3. Is the Corrupt Kodama still available?

Only during the Corruption Event period. Once it ends, the Kodama will probably become unobtainable, unless the devs bring it back.

      4. Can Zen Seed Pack plants mutate into Corrupt?

Yes, but only if you have the Corrupt Kodama pet active during harvest. It applies only to Zen Seed Pack fruits.

      5. What happens if I miss the event window?

You must wait for the next hourly chance. You can also grind the Corrupt Tree or use pets to increase your mutation odds.
