Grow A Garden is a popular Roblox experience where you can grow plants, raise pets, and use powerful mutations to increase crop value. Recently, the Infected Mutation was added to Grow A Garden, which you could get only during the new exclusive admin weather event.

The Infected Mutation has one of the highest multipliers in Grow A Garden, and you cannot trigger it directly. So, here’s a complete guide on how you can get the Infected Mutation in Grow A Garden and what buffs it provides for your crops.

The Infected Mutation can only be applied during the rare Jandel Zombie Invasion, a special admin-triggered weather event known as the Brains.. Event. When this begins, Jandel appears in the sky and summons zombies, which crawl into your garden and infect nearby crops.

You cannot trigger this event manually or with in-game gear. It’s entirely dependent on the admins when they trigger it manually. You can log in just before an update drops to increase your chances, as this is the time when the admins mostly release new weather events.

      Infected Mutation Buffs And Effects

The Infected Mutation increases the crop’s selling value by 75 times. That means a fruit worth 20,000 Sheckles becomes a massive 1.5 million Sheckles after the mutation. Visually, it turns the crop bright green and surrounds it with a floating green mist.

Remember that the event is short, and it usually lasts just around a minute. So, for the best chance of getting Infected crops, you should prepare your garden ahead of time with multi-harvest and high-value fruits.

All Mutations Triggered By Admins In Grow A Garden

Certain weather events in Grow A Garden are not random but are activated directly by game admins. These special occasions usually celebrate updates or community milestones and introduce exclusive mutations. Each of these mutations comes with exceptionally high multipliers.

Best Mutations In Grow A Garden

When it comes to permanent mutations in Grow A Garden, the most valuable one by far is the Celestial Mutation, which provides an extraordinary x120 multiplier to your fruits. However, unlocking it is entirely dependent on encountering a Meteor Shower, which can only take place once Nightfall begins each hour.

Following Celestial in value are the Shocked and Rainbow Mutations, both providing significant boosts to your crop’s value. The Rainbow Mutation is exceptionally rare but doesn’t require any particular weather event, it can happen entirely at random.

Meanwhile, the Shocked Mutation becomes available during Thunderstorms. To increase your chances of obtaining it, you can place a Lightning Rod near your crops, which attracts lightning bolts that have the potential to trigger the mutation.

      Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

You can’t trigger it yourself. The Jandel Zombie event is initiated by the game’s developers.

No. The only way to get it is through the zombie invasion event. Neither sprays nor pets can apply this mutation.

      3. What does the Infected Mutation do to my crops?

It gives them a green, hazy look and multiplies their value by 75 times, making it one of the most profitable mutations in the game.
