So, an alien has arrived in Fisch right before the Fischmas update, and with it comes a unique quest. The alien doesn’t mean any harm, but completing its quest rewards you with one of the powerful rods in the game. However, the quest is divided into 2 parts, which can be a bit confusing to understand. To obtain the Blade of Glorp, you need to complete the Glorp NPC’s quest. Glorp is an alien that can be found in Roslit Bay, where the UFO lies crashed. To start the quest, you’ll need to talk to him, but you won’t be able to understand what he’s talking about. So, to speak with him, you’ll need to craft a translator with Dr. Crookspine’s help, whom you can find in The Laboratory.

So, Dr. Crookspine NPC will ask you to bring a fish with the Gleebous mutation. To get this mutation, fish around Roslit Bay, especially using the Fish Radar to mark out the locations of Gleebous fishing pools. After you’ve got the Gleebous fish, hand it over to him, and he’ll ask you to bring three items. Below, we’ve listed all the items that are required to craft the translator.

Once you get all these items, head back to Dr. Crookspine NPC, and he’ll give you the Translator item. You can use this item to talk to Glorp, and he’ll ask you to bring 15 fish with the Gleebous mutation on them. Once you’ve caught 15 Gleebous fish, head back to him, and you’ll receive the Blade of Glorp Rod as a reward for completing the quest in Fisch.

To get the Gleebous mutation, you need to fish around Roslit Bay. It’s highly recommended to use the Fish Radar as it’ll help you mark out the locations of Gleebous fishing pools. So, fish around these pools for a higher chance as the Gleebous mutation has only 5% chance of being applied to any fish.

Moreover, you can also enchant your rod with the Mutated Enchantment for increased luck and can also prock a Mutation Totem to improve your luck further. Also, use the best rod in your inventory, which’ll significantly make your life way easier while catching these fish. There is no alternate way to this, and with a bit of patience, you’ll be able to catch all 15 Gleebous fish to complete the quest.

All Glorp Quest Rewards in Fisch

Completing Glorp’s quest not only rewards you with the powerful Blade of Glorp Rod but also grants access to one of the best boats in Fisch. Additionally, you’ll earn the exclusive ‘Gleebin’ title and unlock the Glorp’s Saucer boat, making the entire quest highly worthwhile for adventurers and collectors.

Blade of Glorp in Fisch – Stats & Details

The Blade of Glorp Rod is a solid mid-game fishing rod in Fisch, designed for those who are ready to take bigger risks in exchange for better rewards. While its stats are impressive, the lower control makes the fishing bar feel loose during tougher catches. However, with the right enchants like Cryogenic or Sea Prince, you can make it more reliable in standard fishing situations.

However, what truly makes this rod worth using is its passive ability. The Blade of Glorp Rod offers a 23% chance to trigger the Gleebous mutation, which is excellent for earning money.
