Fullbringer is one of the four playable races in Type Soul, with a unique and human-based progression path. Instead of becoming a Soul Reaper or Hollow, Fullbringers use spiritual energy inherited from Hollows to manipulate the souls of objects.

While Fullbringers aren’t the most traditional fighters, they make up for it with powerful ranged attacks and combat styles. But, unlocking Fullbringer in Type Soul is not quite easy. So, here’s a full breakdown of how to unlock and progress as a Fullbringer path in Type Soul.

How to Get Fullbringer in Type Soul

To begin the Fullbringer journey, you’ll first need to level up your human character by completing missions from mission boards scattered across the map. Your goal is to reach Grade 2, the benchmark required to initiate your Fullbringer progression.

Once you hit Grade 2, head to Fake Karakura Town and locate the NPC Elek Ginjo. Speaking to him will unlock the next phase of your journey, which revolves around meditation and a high-stakes survival trial. If you haven’t reached Fake Karakura Town yet, read below.

How to Reach Fake Karakura Town

Fake Karakura Town is the central area for Fullbringer progression. You can reach it by using the Xcution teleport option, available from the spawn menu.

After entering, press the comma key (,) to highlight points of interest, then follow the marker that says Elek Ginjo. Once you locate Ginjo, speak to him to trigger the questline.

    How to Find Elek Ginjo

Elek Ginjo stands out as the key figure for Fullbringer progression. Once you find him using the POI marker, follow his dialogue prompts and equip your Fullbring weapon.

Press M to meditate and begin charging the bar at the bottom right of your screen. When the bar fills up completely, meditate again by pressing M, and you’ll be pulled into your inner world where the trial begins.

    How to Unlock Fullbringer

Unlocking Fullbringer requires completing a multi-phase battle trial, similar to the Shikai or Resurreccion trials. The trial includes five combat rounds against progressively tougher Hollow enemies, culminating in a boss fight against an Adjuchas.

    Fullbringer Trial Rounds

    1. Regular Hollows
    2. Spirit Hollows
    3. Menos + minor Hollows
    4. More Menos + elite Hollows
    5. One Adjuchas

To win, use ranged skills and critical moves, and avoid close combat, especially in the final round. Kido-based moves or ranged crit attacks are most effective.

Surviving all five rounds within the timer will unlock your Fullbring Ability, which functions similarly to Shikai or Partial Res.

    Complete Fullbringer Ability List

Once you complete the trial, you’ll be granted a random Fullbring ability. Each has a rarity and drop chance:

    How to Reroll Fullbringer Ability

If you’re unhappy with the ability you received, you can reroll your Fullbringer power using Element Rerolls, available through in-game purchases through freebies like in-game codes.

While rerolls are limited, even the most common Fullbringer powers become devastating once you advance beyond Grade 2 and clear additional progression trials.
