In Roblox‘s Type Soul, if you are playing as a Hollow, you will need to grind hard to become powerful, but it’s also one of the most rewarding. You will start as a weak hollow in Hueco Mundo, but with time and patience, you can ultimately become a terrifying Vasto Lorde.
The hollow progression has multiple evolution stages, each with its own challenges. So, this complete Type Soul Hollow Progression guide will explain every stage clearly from when you first start as a Fishbone to your final transformation as a Vasto Lorde.
How To Start Hollow Progression In Type Soul
When you pick the Hollow path, you will start in Hueco Mundo as a Fishbone, the weakest form of Hollow. At this stage, you will need to devour other NPC Hollows.
You can target NPC Fishbones easily, but you can also kill NPC Menos, as those drop enough body parts for you to evolve immediately. If you’re having trouble killing these NPCs, you can try using these codes for Type Soul to get a headstart.
Killing NPC Hollows is pretty easy, and it’s best that you don’t attack other players to ruin their progression. Once you’ve eaten enough body parts, you will evolve into the Menos, which is the second phase in Hollow Progression.
How To Evolve Into Menos
As a Menos (Gillian), you will look like a tall, masked hollow with very slow movement speed. You will be able to use the Menos Cero, which is a powerful beam attack that you can equip by pressing N and adding it to your skills.
To progress in this stage, you will need to defeat other Menos NPCs. If you’re having trouble finding Menos, try looking in the Menos Forest.
You can enter the Menos Forest by jumping into the pit beside the quest board. After you’ve killed enough NPC Menos, you will evolve into Adjuchas.
How To Evolve Into Adjuchas
In the Adjuchas form, you still have your Cero attack, but now you will be much stronger. This is also the stage where you can choose to rip their mask and become an Adjucar, a base-tier Arrancar.
However, if you’re looking to continue your Hollow Progression, you will want to hold off on ripping your mask. Instead of going through Arrancar Progression, you can become Vasto Lorde, which will let you become a Vastocar.
How To Evolve Into Vasto Lorde
To become a Vasto Lorde, you will need to collect 25 Mask Cracks by defeating other Adjuchas. Killing NPC Adjuchas will give you two Mask Cracks, while killing other players will give you one.
However, if you die, you will lose five Mask Cracks each time. After getting 25 Mask Cracks, your appearance will change, and you will now become an Albino Adjuchas. Now, there are two ways in which you can become a Vasto Lorde.
By Killing Albino Adjuchas
You can either find another Albino Adjuchas and kill it, but finding another one isn’t easy. There is no NPC Albino Adjuchas, so you will need to find another player who has become Albino Adjuchas, which is pretty rare.
By Killing Vasto Lorde Boss
Alternatively, you can follow the map indicators that will lead you to the Vasto Lorde boss. The fight is quite hard, but once you kill the Vasto Lore boss, you will become a Vasto Lorde yourself.
How To Evolve Into Vastocar
Now, you have reached the highest point of the Hollow Progression. You can continue this in Arrancar Progression by ripping off your mask and becoming a Vastocar. Doing so, you will spawn as an Arrancar.

You automatically begin as a Fishbone when choosing the Hollow path. From there, defeat and devour NPC Hollows, especially Menos, for a faster progression to the next stage.
While PvP can earn you kills, it’s safer and more efficient to progress by defeating NPC Hollows, especially during the early stages like Fishbone and Menos.
If you lose the battle against the Vasto Lorde enemy, you’re permanently reset to Menos and lose the opportunity to become a Vasto Lorde on that character.
