One of the Gears introduced in this update is the Friendship Pot, which lets you and your friend grow a plant together. Sometimes, you would need to remove the Friendship Pot if you’re changing your garden layout or want to re-link to another friend. How To Remove Friendship Pot
To remove your Friendship Pot, start by walking up to the Friendship Pot placed in your garden. Then, open your tools inventory and select the Shovel. With the shovel equipped, click or tap on the pot.
A pop-up confirmation will appear asking if you’re sure about the removal. Press “Confirm” and the pot will vanish from your garden space. Keep in mind, once you remove the pot, it doesn’t go back into your inventory.
So, if you’re looking to clean up your garden or unlink a pot that’s no longer being maintained, Grow A Garden makes it fairly straightforward to remove a Friendship Pot.
What Happens If You Remove Friendship Pot
If you remove a Friendship Pot in Grow A Garden, it immediately clears that particular pot from your garden space. However, it also breaks your existing friendship link. If you and your friend had a streak going, it will reset to zero, and you will lose the growth progress of the plant.
If you ever decide to start again, you will have to re-link with your friend and place a fresh Friendship Pot. Since you can activate only four Friendship Pots at any one time, removing one can also free up space for another friend.
This is helpful if your current link becomes inactive or if you want to start a new one with someone who plays more regularly. Removing a pot won’t affect any of your other gameplay elements like your crops, pets, mutations, and Gears.
