There are currently five Telescope Lenses to collect: Deep Lens, Seasonal Lens, Experimental Lens, Moonlit Lens, and Stellar Lens. Each one has a different purpose, so the best choice depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

How Do Telescope Lenses Work in Fisch?

Telescope Lenses are special items that can be equipped through the Astronomer Vega NPC. Once you have the appropriate Lens, you can use it with the Telescope to activate its associated Astral Anomaly.

Each anomaly provides a different bonus that lasts for a whole night cycle. Moreover, you can switch between them, making the Telescope significantly more useful. This means you do not necessarily want to use the same Lens all the time.

Deep Lens

The Deep Lens is designed for those who want to focus on catching heavier fish. It is crafted by Astronomer Vega using three materials associated with the deeper areas of Fisch. Below, we’ve listed all materials and how to get them.

The Deep Lens activates Abyssal Alignment, which provides a +25% Catch Weight bonus. This makes it a strong option when your primary goal is to land heavier catches rather than maximize XP or mutation chances.

Seasonal Lens

The Seasonal Lens is centered around XP progression. Like the Deep Lens, it is crafted by Astronomer Vega, but collecting its ingredients requires you to travel through different areas and account for specific weather, seasons, and times. Below, we’ve listed all materials and how to get them.

The Seasonal Lens activates Evershifting Eclipse, granting +25% XP. Because of this, it is particularly useful when your priority is leveling rather than maximizing fish weight or hunting mutations.

Experimental Lens

Moonlit Lens

The Moonlit Lens is the mutation-focused Lens in the Telescope collection. Its crafting materials take you toward the colder regions of Fisch, while one of its key ingredients requires fishing under specific conditions. Below, we’ve listed all materials and how to get them.

The Moonlit Lens activates Lunar Eclipse, giving you a 5% chance to obtain Aurora, Lunar, Celestial, and Nova Mutations. This makes it one of the interesting choices for those specifically completing quests with these mutations.

Stellar Lens

The Stellar Lens is different from the other four because you can either craft it from Astronomer Vega or complete the Brayden quest to get it. If you want it for free, you have to find Brayden inside the cabin at Boreal Pines, located around GPS (21626, 141, 4482).

After starting the investigation, you need to travel across Fisch and locate all six Broken Stars. They are scattered across several major locations, so below, we’ve listed all the Broken Star locations in Fisch.

Once you collect all six Broken Stars, continue following the quest objectives to eventually obtain the Stellar Lens. Alternatively, you can craft it through Astronomer Vega, but you first need to collect three specific materials.
