What Is the Arena in Grow a Chicken Fighter?

The Arena is a competitive battle mode where players assemble a small team of Chickens and face another player’s lineup. Each player can bring up to three Chickens into a battle to defeat the opposing team before the match timer expires.

Unlike simply comparing Battle Power, Arena fights also depend heavily on the abilities of your Chickens. A Chicken with slightly lower Battle Power can still be useful if its skills provide an important advantage against the opponent’s lineup.

Winning Arena matches allows you to progress through the ranking system by earning trophies. As your rank improves, you unlock increasingly valuable rewards, including Money, boosts, and different types of Eggs.

How Do You Unlock Arena in Grow a Chicken Fighter?

The Grow a Chicken Fighter Arena becomes available once you reach Rebirth Level 5. Rebirthing requires you to reach the appropriate Tower Floor, so progressing through the main game is the primary requirement for gaining access to the competitive mode.

Once you reach Rebirth Level 5, the Arena becomes available through its dedicated button on the right side of the screen. Click the button to open the Arena menu, where you will find the Home, Rankings, and Rewards sections.

How Does Arena Work in Grow a Chicken Fighter?

When you open the Arena menu, you will find three main sections: Home, Rankings, and Rewards. Each serves a different purpose, from managing your team to tracking your position and checking the prizes available at different ranks.

    SectionDescription
HomeManage your Arena team, check your rank, view global rank and season wins, and enter battles
RankingsSee the global leaderboard and compare your trophy count with other players
RewardsCheck the rewards associated with different Arena ranks

    Home Section

The Home section is where you prepare for Arena battles. Your current rank, global position, and number of season wins are displayed on the left, while your selected team appears on the right. You can also use this section to change your lineup before entering a match. You can select up to three Chickens for your Arena lineup.

So, to manually create your team, click the Edit button on the right side of the Arena screen. This opens the team-editing interface and displays your Chickens from your inventory. Select the three Chickens you want to use and then press Save. Your chosen lineup will become the team you take into your next Arena match.

Alternatively, if you do not want to compare every Chicken, the Equip Best button automatically selects the three Chickens with the highest Battle Power from your collection. However, this automatic option should be treated as a starting point rather than a guaranteed best strategy.

    Rankings Section

The Rankings section shows the global Arena leaderboard. Rankings are determined according to the number of trophies you have earned. Moreover, only the top 100 players appear on the leaderboard.

So, to enter the leaderboard, you need to earn enough trophies to surpass the player currently occupying the 100th position. The leaderboard is therefore more competitive than simply reaching a specific trophy threshold. As others continue earning trophies, the number needed to maintain a position can change.

    Rewards Section

The Rewards section shows what you can earn as you progress through the Arena ranking system. The reward structure starts with the lower Hatchling ranks and continues through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Crystal, Diamond, Master, Elite, and finally Grandmaster.

Lower ranks generally require a specific number of trophies, while higher ranks from the Master tiers onward are increasingly determined by your position relative to others. Below, we’ve listed all the ranks and rewards that you can get after reaching them.

How Do Arena Battles Work in Grow a Chicken Fighter?

Once your team is ready, select GO TO BATTLE. The game will present you with an opponent and show their lineup, allowing you to decide whether you want to take the fight. Here, you can select any one of the two choices.

    • Battle: Accept the displayed opponent and begin the match.
    • Skip: Reject the opponent and search for another matchup.

When the battle starts, your three Chickens enter the Arena and fight the opponent’s three Chickens. The battle has a maximum duration of one minute. However, if a skill gets activated, it enters a 4-second cooldown. This makes ability timing an important part of Arena combat.

The main objective is to eliminate all of the opponent’s Chickens before they eliminate yours. If you successfully knock out the opposing team within the time limit, you win the match.
