Astro Bot, consists of 5 galaxies with over 80 Levels and nearly 300 Bots to rescue, out of which some of them are cameos from other PlayStation titles. As you clear these levels spread through different galaxies, you’ll encounter several Bosses standing in your way.

There are 6 main bosses for each Galaxy, and numerous mini Bosses are present in the preceding stages. Some of them are easy to get rid of while others are pretty challenging. However, every boss is unique and requires a different strategy to beat. So, here are all the Astro Bot bosses ranked based on their difficulty.
6. Wako Tako
First up is Wako Tako, the Octopus with the boxing gloves, located in the Tentacle System Galaxy. For this fight, you’ll acquire the Frog Gloves power-up to start a fistfight with Wako Tako.
The final phase of this boss is a platforming challenge where you’ll need to swing onto platforms, defeat minions, and dodge the tsunamis created by Wako Tako. Since you’ll have checkpoints and plenty of room to work with, this boss fight will be probably the easiest one you’ll encounter.
5. Space Bully Nebulax
Even though Space Bully Nebulax is the final boss of Astro Bot, this oversized green UFO comes off as an easy-to-defeat Boss. Inside the final galaxy, known as the Deja Vux Dimension, you’ll be able to fight him.
The entire fight takes place on the Mothership, with the intro being a 3D Galaga-esque shooter sequence on the Dual Speeder along with cameos from other PlayStation Bots.
Once you’re done destroying the projectiles, you’ll get a final chance to shoot at the Boss. Hitting him enough times will end the Boss fight and the victory will be yours. Overall, it can be an easy or a decently challenging boss fight but fails to provide a strong challenge.
4. Falcon McFly
This giant bird, known as Falon McFly, is located in the Feather Cluster Galaxy and is the last Boss that you need to defeat to proceed to the Space Bully Nebulax Boss fight, the final Boss of Astro Bot.
The entirety of this fight takes place on the bird up in the air, which increases the risk of falling off from it. You’ll also acquire the Iron Suit power-up to aid you in this Boss fight.
After the second phase, you need to climb up Falon McFly’s head, take off its helmet, and punch the egg on its head to finish the fight. This Boss fight can be challenging because it takes place up in the air, but you’ll need precise dodging to take this giant bird down in quickly.
3. The Mighty Chewy
The first major Boss that you’ll face in Astro Bot is one inspired by King Kong. The Mighty Chewy Boss fight takes place at the end of the Gorilla Nebula Galaxy. Here, you’ll acquire the Rocket Dog power-up to boost through enemies and break through walls.
Mighty Chewy gets more aggressive as the fight progresses, making you prone to incoming damage. You’ll have to keep your eyes peeled to avoid all projectiles. For the final phase, Mighty Chewy breaks the platform into two halves and then joins them back together later.
You’ll have to consistently boost and knock out his teeth to deal damage and end the fight. What makes the first major Boss of Astro Bot so challenging is its aggressive and unpredictable moves, making you vulnerable to damage. If you need help with it, feel free to check out our guide.
2. Lady Venomara
The slithering presence of Lady Venomara and the compact area of the fight make this one of the most difficult bosses in Astro Bot. This boss is located in the Serpent Starway Galaxy and is the third major boss that you’ll encounter.
You’ll face continuously different minions and projectiles that need to be dodged using the Chicken Jump power-up. You’ll need quite a bit of platforming to stay in the area while simultaneously dodging the boss’s attacks, making this much more difficult that what you might’ve faced before.
1. Mecha Leon
The hardest boss in the game, in our opinion, is the Mecha Leon, a giant chameleon located in Camo Cosmos. There are three phases to this Boss fight, taking place across three different platforms. In this fight, you’ll acquire the Time Stopper power-up that, as the name suggests, stops time at will.
What makes this fight difficult are the gradually shrinking platforms and the need to stop time at the right moment. Any minor mistake can cost you the fight, and therefore you’ll need to be much more focused on your every move.
