Our Anime Origins Traits Tier List ranks traits based on their overall combat value, stat boosts, special effects, versatility, and usefulness in different stages of the game. Since not every trait is designed for the same purpose, a higher tier does not always mean it is perfect for every unit. Here’s what each tier means.

    TierMeaningHow Many
SThe best traits in Anime Origins, providing exceptional stats, powerful passives, and outstanding overall value.6
AExcellent traits that provide strong performance but may have specific weaknesses or less versatility than S Tier traits.5
BStrong but more situational traits that can be useful depending on the unit or playstyle.5
CUsable early-game traits that provide helpful bonuses but are generally replaced during progression.7

Which Traits Are S Tier in Anime Origins?

    TraitPool RateWhy This Tier
Immortal100% (Secret)+ Provides a massive +200% Damage, making it the strongest raw DPS trait.
+ Grants a -15% Cooldown, +20% Range, and +25% Income for unmatched overall value.
+ Its special ability can instantly eliminate nearby non-boss enemies while knocking back and slowing others.
Overseer4.1% (Mythic)+ Combines +20% Damage, -5% Cooldown, and +10% Range with no downside.
+ Provides a 30% True Damage bonus, giving every attack extra offensive power.
+ Its versatile stat package makes it effective on almost any strong DPS unit.
Rupture12.5% (Mythic)+ Has a +30% Crit Chance, making critical attacks much more consistent.
+ +35% Crit Damage gives Crit-focused units excellent burst potential.
+ Its powerful Crit combination can turn an already strong unit into a devastating carry.
Decay16.5% (Mythic)+ Provides a +40% DoT damage, which improves Bleed, Burn, Poison, and similar effects.
+ -10% Cooldown and +10% Range provide strong secondary combat benefits.
+ Its combination of DoT power and stats makes it exceptional on the right unit.
Ascendant19% (Mythic)+ +35% Boss Damage makes it exceptionally powerful against high-health bosses.
+ +10% Damage and +10% Range keep it useful during regular waves.
+ Its specialized boss-killing power makes it a premium endgame choice.
    Ace20% (Legendary)+ Provides a balanced combination of +10% Damage, -5% Cooldown, and +10% Range.
+ Its well-rounded bonuses work effectively on almost every DPS unit.
+ One of the best Legendary Traits in the entire game due to the well-rounded stat boosts it provides.

Which Traits Are A Tier in Anime Origins?

    TraitPool RateWhy This Tier
Hustler22% (Mythic)+ Provides a +30% Income, making it one of the best traits for dedicated farming units.
+ Grants a +15% Range, providing useful coverage while the unit generates income.
    – Its value drops significantly when used on a unit focused purely on dealing damage.
Stride14.5% (Mythic)+ Tempo can provide up to -20% additional Cooldown, allowing extremely fast attacks.
+ Maximum Tempo grants +10% Range, further improving a unit’s coverage.
    – Tempo resets after five seconds without attacking, making its performance less consistent during downtime.
Joker11.4% (Mythic)+ Provides solid Damage, Cooldown, and Range bonuses before its random effects apply.
+ Its wave modifiers can temporarily increase each stat by up to 25%.
    – The random nature of its bonuses makes its performance less reliable than other Mythics.
Nimble18.5% (Legendary)+ Provides a -20% cooldown, significantly improving attack frequency.
+ It works especially well on units that rely on frequent attacks or repeated effects.
    – It provides no Damage or Range increase, making it less versatile than Ace.
Head Hunter25% (Epic)+ Grants a +20% Crit Chance, greatly improving the consistency of critical attacks.
+ Provides a +25% Crit Damage buff that gives Crit-based units a strong burst advantage.
    – Its effectiveness falls sharply on units that do not benefit much from critical hits.

Which Traits Are B Tier in Anime Origins?

    TraitPool RateWhy This Tier
Looting11.5% (Legendary)+ Grants a +20% Income buff that makes it useful for dedicated economy units.
+ Provides a straightforward income boost without requiring complicated mechanics.
    – Provides very little direct combat value on standard DPS units.
Hawkeye25% (Legendary)+ Grants a +30% Range bonus that can improve a unit’s map coverage and attack uptime.
+ It is especially useful for units with naturally limited attack range.
    – It provides no Damage or Cooldown boost, reducing its value on pure DPS units.
Haste III25% (Epic)+ Grants a -12.5% Cooldown buff, allowing the unit to attack more frequently.
+ Its effect works well across many unit types without requiring a specific build.
    – Stronger options such as Nimble and premium Mythics eventually make it replaceable.
Fury III25% (Epic)+ Provides a +15% Damage bonus, giving almost any offensive unit a solid offensive boost.
+ Its straightforward effect works without relying heavily on Crit and DoT.
    – It has only one stat bonus, giving it less overall value than higher-tier traits.
Reach III25% (Epic)+ The +15% Range bonus allows units to cover more of the battlefield.
+ It can be particularly useful for units with short starting ranges.
    – Range alone usually has less impact than strong Damage or Cooldown bonuses.

Which Traits Are C Tier in Anime Origins?

    TraitPool RateWhy This Tier
Scholar25% (Legendary)+ Grants +50% EXP, which can significantly speed up unit leveling.
    – Only useful for early game unit levelling.
    – Usefulness drops once the unit is fully leveled.
Haste II7.33% (Rare)+ Grants a -7.5% Cooldown reduction that provides a useful early attack-speed boost.
    – Its reduction is much weaker than Haste III and Nimble.
    – Easy to replace once stronger traits are available.
Fury II7.33% (Rare)+ Grants a +10% Damage buff that gives early units a respectable offensive boost.
    – Quickly outclassed by Fury III and stronger Damage-focused traits.
    – Its single bonus gives it limited long-term value.
Reach II7.34% (Rare)+ Grants a +10% Range bonus that can improve positioning and attack coverage.
    – Its Range bonus is weaker than Reach III and Hawkeye.
    – It provides no Damage or Cooldown boost.
Haste I26% (Rare)+ Grants a -5% Cooldown, providing a small improvement for beginners.
    – The reduction is too little to make a significant difference.
    – Better Cooldown traits are available.
Fury I26% (Rare)+ Grants a +5% Damage, giving beginners a minor offensive improvement.
    – The Damage increase is too small to remain useful for long.
    – It lacks secondary bonuses such as Range or CD reduction.
Reach I26% (Rare)+ Grants a +5% Range, providing a slight improvement to attack coverage.
    – The increase is very little to change a unit’s performance.
    – Better Range traits make it useless overall.

How Do You Reroll Traits in Anime Origins?

Traits are special bonuses that improve a unit’s stats or give it unique effects. Since some traits are much stronger than others, rerolling is an important way to improve your units and get better bonuses. If you have enough Trait Rerolls, follow these steps.

    1. First, open the Areas menu from the right side of the screen.
    2. Then, select Trait Reroll and head toward the Trait Reroll NPC.
    3. After that, interact with the NPC and choose the unit whose trait you want to change.
    4. Lastly, click the Reroll button to replace the current trait with a new one. Remember that each unit can store two traits, but only one trait can be active at a time.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

    2. How do you get better traits in Anime Origins?

You can get better traits by using Trait Rerolls. Visit the Trait Reroll NPC, select your unit, and spend a reroll to generate a new trait. Keep rerolling until you get an option that fits your unit and playstyle.
