The Gorilla Nebula is the first galaxy that you’ll come across in Astro Bot, and it serves as an introduction to the mechanics and what lies ahead for Astro. It consists of nine levels shown as planets and has unlockable 42 bots. But once you’ve completed the levels, you’ll notice that you’ve only collected 39 bots. This is where the secret planets come in.

There are three secret levels in the Gorilla Nebula system, each consisting of a Cameo Bot at the end. Unlocking these stages is a bit tricky if you don’t know where to look, but they’re pretty easy to complete, and before going for them, you should finish all the stages that are in the system first. So, here’s all the secret planets and how to

How To Unlock The Crumble Rumble 1 Stage

The Crumble Rumble 1 Stage in the Gorilla Nebula Secret Levels in Astro Bot.

The first secret stage is Crumble Rumble 1, and to unlock it, you need to simply fly around in your spaceship and crash into the asteroid that spawns to the right of the Apes on the Loose planet. Once you do that, you’ll be able to play this secret stage.

It’s an extremely easy stage, as all you need to do to complete it is kill three electric enemies with Astro’s boosters while avoiding the gaps that occur on the platform. Once you’re done with it, save the MLB The Show Cameo Bot from the platform that appears in front of you, and the stage will be completed.

How To Unlock The Retro Rampage 1 Stage

The Retro Rampage 1 Secret Stage in the Gorilla Nebula System in Astro Bot.

The second secret stage is Retro Rampage 1, and to unlock it, fly into the blue and purple stars to the left of the Mighty Chewy planet, and you’ll notice asteroids popping up in a circular formation. Use your spaceship to break all of them, and the secret stage will pop up right there.

To complete this level, you’ll need to defeat all of the rabbit enemies on the stage as soon as they stop jumping. After doing so, a platform will pop up in front with a Cameo Bot based on Ryu from the Street Fighter franchise. Collect the bot to finish the stage.

How To Unlock The Rolling Star Sola Stage

The Rolling Star Sola Secret Stage in the Gorilla Nebula System in Astro Bot.

The final secret stage is the Rolling Star Sola stage, and to unlock it, you’ll need to hit the stray asteroid that pops up on the top left side of the system. Once you do so, the stage will unlock.

As soon as you enter the level, you’ll come face to face with a blue armadillo bot. Punch it to curl it up in a ball and then hop onto it to ride it through the entirety of the spiky stage until you come to the end.

Here, you’ll notice a flying enemy holding a Cameo Bot based on Toro Inoue from the Doko Demo Issyo series hostage. Press Square to shoot the armadillo toward the enemy to defeat it and successfully rescue the bot.
