To help you face enemies with stealth or an offensive stance, here’s a complete beginner guide on how to play Fallen Aces like a pro.
Explore Every Corner Of The Switchblade City
There is a lot to explore in Switchblade City. You have to be on the lookout for everything right from the start of the game. There is a boxing manual right next to Mike’s entrance door and there is also a recent case file right next to the ringing telephone.
If you explore the map well enough you might find a secret location with weapons and items that might come in handy at the start of the game. There will be a lot of ways to go about and you can skip an entire fight by finding some useful escape places.
For example, at the start, there is a window in Mike’s office that you can break to escape the building without confronting any enemies. Explore the unknown path or the dark corner with your lighter to find a hidden route. Revealing the shadows will always be a surprise, or it will just help you in hiding.
Learn To Plan Your Fights Before Engaging
Fighting against a mob of enemies alone can be a lot to handle with just punches. Try to have at least a single good weapon on you before confronting the enemy. Isolate the enemies and then fight each individual. If the confrontation is tough and you have very low health, just run away. It’s better to run away than to die a meaningless death.
Have enough health when confronting an enemy, if not replenish your health before the fighting. Have a consumable in your inventory for emergencies. Sneaking and hiding around when confronting enemies will help you conserve your health.
Remember to always do a manual quick save so you don’t lose your progress. press F6 to quicksave. NOTE
Always Have A Good Weapon On You
There are plenty of weapons to be found all around the Switchblade city. The first main weapon is your fists. The melee with hand-to-hand combat is the best experience in the game. But it’s not the most effective way to fight, you need to have a weapon in the game to counter the enemy and deal heavy damage.
The game has many different types of guns and many other strong weapons to deal heavy damage. Using a gun will get you easy kills. But if there are no bullets we suggest you throw it away for another weapon. Keeping one of three slots occupied for anything useless to you at that moment is just asking to be killed.
When the weapon is almost broken or the gun has no bullets and there are enemies in front of you, use it as a throwable weapon if possible. NOTE
Here’s a list of five weapons to be on the lookout for at the start of the game:
Weapon | Reason |
---|---|
Baseball Bat | High Damage, Fast Attack Speed. |
Fire Axe | High Damage, Decent Attack Speed. |
Pan | Decent Damage, Decent Attack Speed. |
Hammer | High Damage, Low Attach Speed. |
Know How To Manage Your Consumables
Try to secure food whenever you get your hand on it. Keep one slot for health consumables always even if you have full health. Food consumables can usually be found in the fridge if you come across them. When you are low on health, find a vending machine to buy food and recover your health.
Having optimal health all the time gives you an advantage when confronting a bigger group of enemies. Finishing off enemies will grant you health. So you use the finisher on a dazed enemy to get more health. Few consumables give you added temporary benefits sometimes with health.
Here’s a list of consumables to look out for in the early game of Fallen Aces:
Consumable | Effects |
---|---|
Cola | Increases Speed |
Painkillers | Gives you toughness |
Smoking | Increases accuracy |
Always Have Useable Items In Your Inventory
There are only three slots in your inventory. Try to carry at least one explosive, durable, and consumable weapon in your arsenal. Having good weapons will give you an edge in any fight. This is just a suggestion because, with limited inventory, you might not always get the best picks before every fight.
Try your best to keep it balanced, so you can have a greater advantage during combats. You will find a lot of great weapons in the game as you progress, no need to get attached to any weapons. Just use your weapons to have an upper hand in brawls. The limited slots in inventory might teach you your playstyle in the game as you progress.
Learn To Use Stealth Effectively
Try to be as stealthy as possible, this will take you a long way into the game. Stealth will help you clear enemies without losing much health. There is no problem in going all John Wick on your enemies but stealth gives you safe play while being fun as well.
There are many elements in Fallen Aces for your stealth plans. Approach an enemy from behind and use chop to knock them out. You can then pick up and hide the body in a dark corner to not alert the other goons. Use the shadows as your ally to hide and sneak up on your enemy to get an easy kill.
When the enemies are unconscious and down. Make sure to finsh them off by stomping on them, so they don’t get up again. NOTE
Try To Use Your Environment As A Weapon
There are a lot of environmental elements to use in innovative ways to finish the enemies. The simplest is to kick the enemies around from higher places to kill them off. There are open electric boards that will stun the enemy for an easy kill, you just have to push them into the board.
You will find moving trains and trams in the city. If you are confronting enemies nearby, push the enemies or lure them near it and let the moving vehicle do the dirty work.
When confronting enemies look for flammable objects near them and then use guns or Molotov cocktails to get maximum kills as the fire will spread to all nearby enemies.
Learn How To Use Throwable Weapons Skillfully
You will find the throwables all over the place anywhere you go in Fallen Aces. Try to use throwable objects as much as possible. Throwable will provide you with a breather if there are a lot of enemies.
Also, throwable can be used to confront enemies by lowering their health before the fight begins. Use a throwable that will kill the enemies, for example, use a gas canister to blow up enemies. Keep your distance from the enemies by using throwable objects.
