99 Nights in the Forest is a survival Roblox game, where you need to survive 99 days in a forest from a vicious Deer and its cultists. However, in the latest update, a cave has appeared where a new ferocious entity resides. The cave is very long and goes very deep, giving a feeling of unendingness.

The latest update features the Bat entity and the cave, along with numerous new cool mechanics. But all of this can be a bit overwhelming, especially for beginners. So, to help you out, here’s a complete guide that explains everything about the Bat Cave in 99 Nights in the Forest.

How to Find the Cave in 99 Nights in the Forest

You can discover the Bat Cave from Day 1 itself, right when your run begins. It always appears somewhere east of your campfire, though its exact placement is completely random each round. To make things easier, use the map to pinpoint the location, allowing you to plan your route.

The main cave entrance is a large cave icon indicated by a yellow exclamation mark. This marks the large cave and serves as the only direct route to the Bat itself. Additionally, the forest also contains three smaller caves scattered across different areas.

These smaller caves are displayed as tiny cave icons on the map and remain sealed behind stone walls. To open them, you’ll need to use TNT, which you can obtain from deeper inside the main Bat Cave.

How to Survive the Bat Cave in 99 Nights in the Forest

Before entering the Bat Cave, make sure you’re equipped with a few essential items. A Flashlight is mandatory not only for visibility but also for charging crystal nodes scattered throughout the tunnels. Activating these crystals brightens the cave and lowers the risk of being ambushed by Cultists lurking in the dark.

Also, bring Stew to keep your hunger bar stable and carry at least one strong weapon, such as the Chainsaw, Strong Axe, Spear, or Shotgun, to handle the tougher green-cloaked cultists inside. Having Bandages or a Med Kit also adds an extra layer of safety, especially when playing with teammates.

Once you step inside, you’ll immediately face waves of new green cultists, who are far stronger than the red ones found outside. After clearing them, the cave gradually widens into larger crystal chambers, side tunnels, and steep shafts.

The Bat appears from the very first chamber, attacking with powerful sonic blasts that can quickly overwhelm you. Later on, you’ll also encounter a new armoured cultist wearing a cape and wielding a massive axe, bigger than itself. Progressing through the cave eventually leads you to a statue room containing TNT, which you can use to blow open the smaller cave exits on your map.

All Rewards from the Bat Cave in 99 Nights in the Forest

The Bat Cave doesn’t feature standard loot chests, nor will you find weapons or gear scattered through most of its tunnels. Instead, its main rewards come from the Blessings located in the statue chambers. Each statue resembles one of the four main entities in the game: the Deer, Owl, Ram, and Bat.

Other than the Blessings, the Bat Cave grants you access to the TNT, which lets you open the smaller cave exits across the map. You’ll also obtain Purple Fur Tuft from the Bat’s den, which is an item required for certain storyline quests, like saving the Deer.

There are eight total Blessings inside the Bat Cave’s statue chambers. Every blessing provides a buff that stays active for the rest of the game. Each buff is split into two tiers for each entity.

These buffs include effects such as extending the day, decreasing hunger rate or lowering the chance of rain. Each statue room has two choices, but you can only select one from each chamber. So, choose according to your requirement.
