The Corrupted mutation is a Story Mode special mutation that increases the HP of your plants by 10x. So, if you have a plant with 100 HP, getting the Corruption mutation on it will increase its HP to 1000. This can be extremely useful in clearing the story missions, as it can speed up your progress.
To get the Corrupted mutation, here’s what you have to do:
- Pick up the plant that you want to get the Corrupted mutation on using the shovel.
- Go to the Central Island.
- Give the plant to the corrupted chef standing in the Corrupted Plant Pantry area.
- Wait for the timer to hit zero. It can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes to apply the mutation. Higher-rarity plants will take longer.
Once the plant is ready, it will be automatically added to your inventory. You can place it down in your garden without having to go back and collect it.
How to Earn Season Pass XP in Plants Vs Brainrots
Plants Vs Brainrots introduces the Season Pass mechanic in the Season 1 update. There is a Free Tier and a Premium Tier that costs 299 Robux. The Season Pass has multiple tiers, each offering better rewards than the last. You can claim these rewards by progressing through the Season Pass. For that, you have to earn Season Pass XP by completing certain quests. Here’s how to do that:
- In the Lobby, click on the Season Pass button located above the Rebirth button.
- Click on the Quests button to see all available quests.
- For Free Tier players, there are three quests available at any given time. These are of Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty. The quests reset every 12 hours. If you’ve completed the quests, you’ll have to wait for the timer to hit zero to get new ones.
- Complete these quests to earn Season Pass XP.
As you progress through the Season Pass, you’ll get rewards like Season Tokens, Brainrots, different Gear items, Crates, EXP, and a lot more.
You can redeem the Season Tokens at the Season Shop to get items like Premium Water Bucket, Witch Potion, Expansion Card Pack, and more. The Season Shop has limited stock and restocks every hour, so make sure you get the items you need before they disappear or someone else purchases them.
How to Unlock the Birch Forest Biome in Plants Vs Brainrots
Plants Vs Brainrots Season 1 update expanded the Brainrot Invasions Story Mode with the Birch Forest Biome. It’s the fifth biome to be added to Plants Vs Brainrots, and it brings 25 new Story Missions and more Secret Brainrots to collect.
However, you first have to unlock the Birch Forest Biome and defeat the various bosses to get those brainrots. For that, you must clear all 25 Story Missions of the Cherry Grove Biome. Once you do that, you will automatically unlock the Birch Forest Biome and will be able to collect brainrots like Cocotank, Conerio, and more.
