For beginners, Nexus can be quite overwhelming with multiple interfaces, game modes, and features. But your Combat Power (CP) is the value that matters the most. So, here are some tips and tricks to help you become one of the strongest players on your server.

Always Keep Gears Leveled Up

Your gear is the main source of your Combat Power in Nexus: Nebula Echoes. Having your gear enhanced to the maximum level is the best way to spend your in-game currency, Starium.

You might be thinking that you will lose your enhancement if you find better gear, but that is not the case. Gear enhancement is permanent, and is carried forward if you find or switch to better gear.

The best way to get strong gear in Nexus: Nebula Echoes is from either killing Phantoms or from crafting. NOTE

Use The Exchange Center For Extra Gears

When you start farming gear, more often than not, you will find gears that aren’t suitable for your class. Even if they are Legendary or Mythic equipment, you won’t be able to use them. Rather than using them as fodder for enhancement, you should use the Exchange Center instead.

The Exchange Center is an in-game trading platform using which players can trade gear and items among themselves. This is the best way to get Colored Diamonds, which is a premium currency that you can either get from trading or buying with real money.

Pay Attention To Your Starchart

Apart from your gear, the next important way to gain power is from the Starchart. This is a unique interface using which you can gain direct stat boost, providing a minimum of 30K to even 80K increase in combat power.

Having your Starchart filled and their slots enhanced to the highest level is something you should always remember to do if you want to be in optimal condition at all times. The best way to get these emblems is from the Celestial Battlefield.

Being In A Club Is Very Important

Clubs are similar to guilds in other MMO RPGs, where you can join other players and play various co-op modes together. While you might ignore this as a beginner, the amount of bonuses you gain from Club Missions is one of the best ways to progress in this game.

Apart from missions, you also gain access to exclusive titles, perks, and co-op bonuses when you’re in a club. So, when you unlock this, be sure to press the ‘Apply To All’ option and join a club as soon as possible.

Always Participate In Celestial Battlefield

Among all the game modes in Nexus, the Celestial Battlefield is by far the most fun and rewarding one. In this mode, you are part of one of three factions and you need to capture checkpoints by defeating more bosses.

While it might seem a bit time-consuming at first, you also get tons of experience and high-rarity Starchart emblems from defeating these bosses. But that’s not all, you also get additional rewards for ranking in the top 10 boss killers, and also for being the winning faction.

While this mode is mostly PvE, there is also PvP aspect, as you can deter other factions from defeating bosses by attacking them. NOTE

Be On The Lookout For Phantoms

Phantoms are server bosses that spawn at regular intervals and can drop rare gears as well as lots of experience points. While the number of attempts at Phantoms is limited to only four every day, you should make sure to use each of them to get the most value.

Also, every Phantom has a level and difficulty, and the reward you get from defeating them depends on that. The higher the level, the better rewards you can get. Here are the top five Phantoms you should target as a beginner:

PhantomLevelReason
Peace Hound235Has the highest chance to drop the Mythical grade ‘Night Demonic Wings’ and ‘Doomsday Wheel’.
Hell Hound235Can drop Mythical Grade T6 gear, with a lower chance of dropping ‘Night Demonic Wings’.
Peace Serpent200Can drop Mythical Grade T5 gear, with a low chance of dropping ‘Doomsday Wheel’.
Charm Bone Serpent200Can drop Mythical Grade T5 gear, with a very low chance of dropping ‘Doomsday Wheel’.
Peace Mutant195Low chance of dropping Mythical Grade T5 gear, with slim chances of ‘Stardust Earrings’.

Leveling Up Is Key To Everything

Even though most of the missions at the start of your playthrough will be completed automatically, as you reach higher levels, the rate of completion will keep on decreasing. Leveling up is the crux of being strong in Nexus: Nebula Echoes.

You should try to hit at least level 200 within the first 24 hours of your playthrough. That way, you can maximize your dungeon attempts, mission rewards, and even Phantom attempts.

Here are the best ways to level up as a beginner:

  • EXP Dungeon: This is the best way to level up. Even though you are limited to only two attempts every day, you can use these dungeons to gain millions of EXP.
  • Escort Quests: Even though these missions are a bit risky, they are equally rewarding. You can gain lots of EXP and red diamonds from completing these missions.
  • EXP Loop Quests: While these aren’t the most rewarding missions, they still provide a significant amount of EXP if you can complete them.
  • Daily Quests: You can get a significant amount of EXP from completing daily quests regularly. This isn’t very optimal for only EXP but is overall the most rewarding.

Apart from these, you can also gain EXP while idling. You just need to turn on idling mode, and you can level up eventually. NOTE

You Need To Finish Your Daily Quests

If you can’t complete limited-time events like Celestial Battlefield, then fear not. The only set of missions that you should prioritize completing regularly are the daily quests.

These are by far the most rewarding quests in Nexus Nebula Echoes, can are best for beginners to progress quickly and easily. To get the most value out of these, prioritize completing the EXP quests first to level up then move on to other dungeons to attempt the highest difficulties.
