      The upcoming free-to-play hero shooter, Marvel Rivals, is all set to launch this December. Featuring a stacked cast of Marvel heroes and villains, Marvel Rivals will have icons from the Marvel Universe face off against each other in a team of six. With a successful closed and open beta, NetEase Games’ latest title is already much anticipated by fans of the characters.

      According to the official website, Marvel Rivals is set to go live on all platforms, including PC, PS5, and more, on December 6, 2024, at 00:00 (midnight) UTC/4 pm PT/ 7 am EST. To help you get a better idea, here are all the details currently available about the release of this anticipated title.

      Some regions may get to play the game early due to time zone differences. However, rest assured, the game will go live for everyone starting December 6. The release date applies to every platform including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store).

      What We Know About Marvel Rivals So Far

      Marvel Rivals is the ultimate free-to-play online Marvel Team-Based PvP Hero Shooter, releasing on December 6 worldwide. The cast features 33 iconic Marvel heroes and villains, with all of them being playable from launch. 8 maps have been confirmed on launch, with more on the way. The game went gold a few days ago, gearing up for its release next week.

      Additionally, NetEase Games’ recent blog post has also confirmed a Marvel Rivals x Fortnite collaboration, dropping on December 6. Players are required to play 10 matches in Fortnite to unlock exclusive cosmetic goodies in Marvel Rivals.

      Marvel Rivals will support crossplay between all platforms (except in Competitive Mode for PC and PlayStation). Players won’t require PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass to play online with friends. However, it’s confirmed that the game will not be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One consoles and Nintendo Switch.
