According to HowLongToBeat, Astro Bot will take around 9 and a half hours to complete if you simply want to play the story without going for 100% completion. However, if you want to find missing VIP bots and puzzle pieces, then the playtime will stand at around 10 hours.
It’s much longer than its predecessor, Astro’s Playroom, which took around 3 hours to complete, but it’s filled with just enough content to keep you engaged throughout the game. In addition to that, it utilizes the full power of the PlayStation 5 and the Dualsense controller, making the experience more immersive than ever.
How Long Does It Take to 100 Percent Astro Bot?
If you’re attempting to do a completionist run of Astro Bot, which means saving every bot, exploring every world thoroughly, and collecting every single collectible, then it will take you around 15 to 18 hours, if not longer.

Will Astro Bot Receive Any DLC?
Astro Bot is indeed slated to receive DLC after launch in the form of rescuing new VIP bots and new speedrun challenge levels similar to those featured in Astro’s Playroom.
But that’s not even the best part; Team Asobi has also confirmed that they’ll be added by the end of this year, free of charge, so expect your Astro Bot numbers to ramp up whenever these new content updates drop.
Astro’s Playroom recently received free updates in the form of rescuing new VIP bots, which essentially served as a teaser for Astro Bot, so it’s safe to say that Team Asobi will follow suit with their newest title too.
