You’ll know when a weather event is active through visual cues, like rainfall, lightning strikes, frost breezes, moonlit skies, and weather icons in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

Weather Mutations In Grow A Garden

Weather-driven mutations are where the real money is. These mutations not only change the appearance of your crops but drastically increase their sell price. Here’s a breakdown of all known weather-linked mutations:

      • Wet Mutation
        Triggered by: Rain or Thunderstorm
        Effect: x2 Sell Multiplier
      • Shocked Mutation
        Triggered by: Lightning during Thunderstorm
        Effect: x50 Sell Multiplier
      • Chilled Mutation
        Triggered by: Frost (Snow)
        Effect: x2 Sell Multiplier

What Are Weather Events In Grow A Garden?

In Grow A Garden, weather events are server-wide environmental changes that affect growth speed, crop appearance, and mutation potential. Each weather type temporarily enhances your garden’s output and provides unique opportunities for rare crops.

For instance, Frost makes your avatar shiver and covers the land in the snow, while a Thunderstorm brings dramatic lightning and high mutation potential. These weather events increase growth speed and introduce mutation chances. They also visually transform the environment, keeping gameplay fresh and dynamic.

Can You Force Change Weather In Grow A Garden?

Currently, you cannot force a specific weather event in Grow A Garden. All weather types cycle randomly across servers, and no gear or item guarantees a specific condition.

However, there are ways to manipulate outcomes within existing weather. For example:

      • During a Thunderstorm, using a Lightning Rod can increase your chances of getting the Shocked Mutation by attracting lightning to your crops.
      • The Polar Bear pet can help trigger Frozen Mutations, even outside typical Frost events.

While direct control isn’t possible yet, strategic item use during favorable weather can tilt the odds in your favor.
