The Monster Mash event in Grow A Garden was a timed, global dance-off where players across all servers performed the Monster Mash emote simultaneously. It was an attempt by the developers to set a world record inside Roblox for most players doing the same emote at the same time.
To make things even more exciting, the event turned the entire map into a dance party with Disco and Frost weather effects that triggered possible fruit mutations, all while building hype for the Cosmetic update. A disco stage and DJ booth even appeared in front of the Egg and Gear Shop!
When Does Monster Mash Event Start
The Monster Mash event kicked off 15 minutes before the Farm Cosmetic update went live on May 24, 2025. Below are the exact start times for key regions:
- UTC – 1:45 PM
- PDT – 6:45 AM
- CDT – 8:45 AM
- EDT – 9:45 AM
- IST – 7:15 PM
- BST (UK) – 2:45 PM
If you were online during that window, you were automatically part of the event when the countdown hit zero.
How To Join Monster Mash Event In Grow A Garden
There were no complex requirements, just log in and stay online when the timer begins. A series of pop-ups hinted that something massive was about to go down (including jokes about possibly crashing Roblox).
At the end of the countdown, your character automatically started performing the Monster Mash emote. There was no need to equip anything special or click any buttons, the event handled it for you.
That said, the only way to currently get the Monster Mash emote was to be online during the live event. It’s no longer available for new players.
Monster Mash Event Rewards
If you attended the Monster Mash event, you were automatically granted the Monster Mash Trophy once the Farm Cosmetic update launched. It can be found in your cosmetic inventory, just click the hammer and spanner icon in the top-left corner of your screen.
As of now, the trophy is exclusive and non-obtainable for anyone who missed the event. While other rewards like pets or mutations weren’t confirmed, the Disco and Frost weather effects during the event may have temporarily boosted your fruit outcomes.
