To summon the Severed Spine seed, you will need to complete the Harvest Reaper Ritual in your garden. You will need a variety of plants to complete the ritual, which will give you Severed Spine in the end.

      Find The Harvest Reaper NPC

You need to find the Harvest Reaper NPC, who appears at the center of the lobby every two hours. He replaces the Witch and the Dead Tree characters during the Halloween event.

When the Reaper spawns, you will see 25 ritual plates surrounding him in a circle. Each plate burns with an orange flame and requires a specific plant as an offering. You need to approach each plate and check which plant it needs before starting the ritual.

      Start The Harvest Reaper Ritual

After identifying the required plant, you have to take it out of your backpack and hold it. Then, interact with the ritual plate by pressing ‘E’, and you can select the Submit option.

Once you submit the correct plant, the plate’s flame will change color from orange to blue, showing that the offering is complete. You need to turn all the orange flames into blue to get Severed Spine.

      Complete The Ritual Successfully

You need to repeat this process for every plate until all 25 flames turn blue. This confirms that all plants have been successfully submitted, and the summoning ritual will automatically finish.

Once the ritual finishes, you will receive your rewards, which include Candy Corn, a Spooky Chest, and a rare Severed Spine seed. Most of the plants you will need for the ritual are simple, such as carrots, pumpkins, or Jack-o-Lanterns.

Some plates will need mutated plants like Spooky or Vamp varieties, so you need to prepare these crops in advance before the Harvest Reaper arrives.
