Grow A Garden is a popular Roblox experience where you can grow your crops and sell them to get rich. Recently, the Friendship update went live in Grow A Garden, which included the rare Sun God weather event.
The Sun God weather event features a giant golden monkey, which can apply a rare mutation to your plants. So, here’s a complete guide to help you understand exactly how to trigger the Sun God event and how to use it for mutating your plants.
How To Get Sun God Weather Event In Grow A Garden
You can get the Sun God weather event only when the admins trigger it manually. It is not a standard weather event like Rain or thunderstorm. Instead, it’s an admin-triggered weather event, controlled mainly by Grow A Garden’s creator, Jandel.
So, there’s no sure-shot way to get it. The Sun God weather event is either manually triggered by Jandel or appears at random with extremely low probability.
When the Sun God is triggered, you’ll usually know through an in-game system message sent by Jandel himself. A giant golden monkey NPC will appear in your garden, and the sunlight will get stronger.
What To Do During Sun God Weather Event In Grow A Garden
The Sun God weather event in Grow A Garden applies the Dawnbound mutation to your plants. However, it doesn’t automatically apply the mutation. Instead, you’ll need to do the following during the event to make sure that you get the mutation:
Get A Sunflower Crop
To get the mutation, you must have a Sunflower ready in your garden. You can find these seeds from the Flower Seed Pack sold in the Honey Shop. However, the drop rate for Sunflower Seed is incredibly low at only 0.5%, so you’ll need to buy lots of seed packs.
Wait For The Sun God To Appear
Once the golden monkey appears on the edge of the map, you’ll need to act fast. The event lasts only for a limited time, so you will have to mutate your sunflower very fast.
Form A Group Of Four
For the Sun God’s blessing to activate, you need to find another three friends in Grow A Garden. Together, all four of you need to have a Sunflower each.
Then, go to the golden monkey NPC at the same time. If all four of you show the Sunflowers, the event triggers the Dawnbound Mutation for your Sunflowers.
Get The Rewards
The Dawnbound Mutation is one of the most powerful in the entire game, offering a 150x multiplier to your crop’s base sell value. You can sell a single Dawnbound Sunflower for over 20 million Sheckles, making you one of the richest people in Grow A Garden.
