Grow A Garden is a Roblox experience where you grow crops, collect pets, and sell those to earn huge profits. The July 2025 Prehistoric Update added a new Divine pet, which is the T-Rex. This dinosaur is not only the rarest from the Dinosaur Egg, but also one of the most powerful pets that you can get in Grow A Garden.

The T-Rex has a unique ability that increases powerful crop mutations in your garden. However, to get one, you will need to trade pets and wait patiently to hatch this dinosaur. So, here’s a complete guide on how to get and use T-Rex in Grow A Garden.

How To Get T-Rex In Grow A Garden

You can get the T-Rex from a Dinosaur Egg, which is available only during the Prehistoric Event. To get a Dinosaur Egg, you need to visit the Dinosaur Egg Stand run by Graham and trade any pet except another dinosaur. After 60 minutes, the pet will be converted into an egg.

There is only a 1 percent chance that you will be able to hatch a T-Rex from the Dinosaur Egg. So, this is the rarest pet that you can get from this egg. Dinosaur egg takes 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch. You can also get Dinosaur Eggs by completing Dino Quests, which are available daily from Blaire.

After you hatch the T-Res, you can equip it from your pet inventory. The T-Rex has a trait called Apex Predator, which activates automatically while the pet is active. This pet has a 60,000 hunger capacity and which it needs to activate its ability.

To take full advantage of its power, you should plant multiple crops with mutations and let the T-Rex apply them onto other crops. If you want to keep T-Rex active, remember to check its hunger bar often and use food items to refill it when necessary.
