The GPO Halloween update transports players to Spooksville Island, which is to the west of the Town of Beginnings or southwest of the Island of Zou. The island serves as the event hub, with activities involving trick-or-treating, fighting enemies, and trading candies for event-exclusive items.

Since it is Halloween, you can easily identify this island by its haunted and foggy appearance, and it is easily visible from afar. A new currency is also introduced, exclusive to this Halloween event. You can use this currency to purchase Halloween-exclusive items from the Halloween shop.

How to Get Candies in GPO

The entire event centers around these candies. They are important as they grant you the power to purchase Halloween-exclusive items. You can earn them in two different ways, namely by Trick-or-Treating or by defeating Candy Skeletons.

      By Trick-Or-Treating

To start Trick-or-Treating, you need to purchase the Pumpkin Bag. You can buy it from the dark, misty-figured NPC, right at the center of Spooksville Island. Once you buy it for 5,000 Peli, you can start visiting different houses and knock on the doors for Trick-or-Treating.

Every time you knock at a door, you have a 66% chance of getting 1 to 5 candies, while the remaining 33% chance, you can get tricked. There is no need to be sad, as you can get more candies if you have fast hands and move through each house as quickly as possible.

While Trick-or-Treating, if your Pumpkin Bag fills up, you can upgrade it to a Pumpkin Basket or a Candy-Corn Basket. Here’s a table mentioning the number of candies that each basket can hold:

      BasketAmountCost
      Pumpkin Basket250 candies max100 candies
      Candy-Corn Basket500 candies max250 candies

      By Defeating Candy Skeletons

Along with Trick-or-Treating, you can also defeat Candy Skeletons that spawn at sunset to get some Candies. They spawn all over Spooksville Island and can drop 3 to 8 candies when defeated.

These skellies are tough to defeat as they block your attacks. You will need to break their defense before finishing them off. It’s recommended to be at least Level 15 or higher before fighting them.

All Rewards in the Halloween Event in GPO

After you have collected candies, you can visit the NPC and see the various rewards that are available for your grabs. Here’s a list mentioning all the rewards that are available in the Halloween Store:
