Garden Horizons is a Roblox experience where you start with a small plot of land and gradually build a bigger, more advanced garden by planting crops and harvesting them. However, weather events can grant unique mutations to your crops.
Weather events in Garden Horizons occur randomly throughout the server and have a chance to apply mutations to your crops, which then increases the sale value of your crop. However, understanding weather events and their mutations can be a bit confusing, especially when you are a beginner. So, to help you out, here’s a complete guide to weather events in Garden Horizons.
All Weather Events in Garden Horizons

Currently, there are six different weather events, each of which can offer unique mutations or boosts. Below, we’ve listed all the weather events in Garden Horizons and their effects.
| Weather | Description | Effects |
|---|---|---|
| Foggy | A dense layer of fog spreads across the entire map, reducing visibility. | Random crops in your garden have a chance to receive the Foggy mutation. |
| Rain | Dark clouds fill the sky as rainfall begins across the map, and the background music stops, leaving only the sound of rain. | Crop growth speed increases by 25%. Random crops gain the Flooded or Soaked mutation. |
| Storm | Heavy rain pours down while thunder can occasionally be heard in the background. | +50% growth speed for crops. Crops have a chance to obtain the Shocked mutation. |
| Snow | Light fog appears and snowflakes gently fall, covering the map in a winter atmosphere. | Crops can randomly receive the Snowy or Chilled mutation. |
| Sandstorm | Strong winds blow sand across the map, creating a dusty storm environment. | +20% growth speed bonus. Crops can gain the Sandy mutation. |
| Starfall | The sky shifts to a glowing blue tone as shooting stars fall from above. | Crops in your garden have a chance to become Starstruck through mutation. |
Weather Event Reset Times & Duration in Garden Horizons
Weather events are closely connected to both the Gears Shop and the Seed Shop. Whenever the Seed Shop refreshes its stock, there is a possibility for the weather to change. However, a restock doesn’t always trigger a new weather condition, as the current weather can remain active for another cycle.
Each weather event lasts for approximately five minutes. If you keep an eye on the timer, it becomes much easier to take advantage of these events. This gives enough time to prepare and plant specific seeds in advance, especially when aiming for high-value mutations such as Gold or Starstruck.
