Fortnite Battle Passes have consisted of a mix of original skins as well as collaborations with other well-known characters from different movies, video games, TV shows, and more. Every Battle Pass features a secret skin that you can unlock by doing quests as well. The Battle Pass of Chapter 5 Season 3 sees the arrival of the Mutant Leader, Magneto, as a secret skin.

To unlock Magneto, you have to complete a set of quests, which can be easy or challenging depending on how you do them. If you don’t want to have a hard time, here is a complete walkthrough for all the Magneto quests to add this exclusive skin to your collection.
Magneto Page 1 Quests
There are various phases of these quests, divided by pages. You need to complete all the quests for both pages to unlock the skin. So, here’s how to complete Page 1 of the Magneto Quests in Fortnite.
Visit Weapon X Lab
To complete this quest, head to visit the Weapon X Lab. It is located near the Grand Glacier POI. Upon reaching the location, enter the lab to finish the quest.
The best way to complete this quest easily is by landing near the Grand Glacier at the beginning of the match, and start making your way to the lab as soon as you land.
Completing this quest gives you the Knock, Knock, Clang loading screen. NOTE
Collect Magneto Power
Magneto Power or Magneto’s Gauntlets is a rare item that can be obtained from Floor Loot, Chests, Supply Drops, or the Magneto NPC himself.
Where To Find Magneto Power?
You can buy Magneto Power directly from the Magneto NPC for 400 Gold Bars, located in Brawler’s Battleground. This is the best way to complete this quest, rather than depending on luck.
Completing this quest will give you Magneto’s Grasp Spray. NOTE
Travel 300 Meters In The Air With Magneto Power Equipped
To complete this quest, you have to equip Magneto Power and travel 300 meters in the air. All you need to do is sprint and jump with the gauntlets equipped.
The optimal way to complete this quest is to start with the ‘Collect Magneto Power’ mission, and after you complete that, you can proceed with this quest.
Completing this quest will reward you with the Magnetized Scrap Pickaxe. NOTE
Hit Vehicles Using Magneto Power
To complete this quest, you can either hit 10 vehicles with Magneto Power or hit the same vehicle 10 times. It is easier to do the latter but a vehicle can take only 3-4 hits before it explodes.
You need to fire at any vehicle 10 times, whether it’s your own or an opponent’s, to complete this quest. This will give you Magneto’s Banner Icon.
This completes all of Magneto’s Page 1 Quests and you’ll be rewarded with the Wastelander Magneto Skin.
Magneto Page 2 Quests
After you finish completing the Page 1 Quests, you’ll be able to start the next set of missions, which are the Page 2 Magneto Quests for Fortnite.
Eliminate 5 Opponents Using Magneto Power
In the first quest, you have to use the Magneto’s Gauntlets and eliminate 5 opponents. To make this easy for you, try to do this quest in Team Rumble. Land at a spot with good loot, find the Magneto Power, and eliminate 5 opponents to get this quest over with.
Upon completing this quest, you’ll receive the Crushed GG Emoticon.
Block Hits Using the Magneto Power
To complete this quest, you have to block 200 hits using the Magneto Power. This quest is pretty tedious and can take a while to complete. However, there are two easier methods to complete this game:
- Play a match with a friend, get the Magneto Power, and ask them to shoot you while you block their hits with the gauntlet.
- Get the Magneto Power, attack any NPC around the map, and block their hits as soon as they start shooting.
Continue the process until you block 200 hits to get the Magnetic Steps Glider.
Deal 2,000 Damage To Opponents From One Story Or Above
For this quest, you have to deal 2,000 damage to opponents from the height of a one-story building or above. There are two methods to complete this quest quickly:
- Start a solo match, land in a POI where an NPC spawns, and shoot them from one story or above. The best location to do this quest is at Redline Rig or Brutal Beachhead since you can eliminate multiple NPCs from a height there.
- The second method, which can take some time, is to jump into Team Rumble and eliminate opponents from a height. You can do this quest with any weapon.
Completing this quest will give you the Disassemble Emote.
Configure Rift Beacons
For the final quest on this page, you have to configure 3 Rift Beacons around the map. These are the three locations where you can find the Rift Beacons:
- Sandy Steppes
- Grand Glacier
- The Underworld
Head to these locations and configure the Rift Beacons to complete this quest, which will give you the Magnetism Master Gun Wrap.
This marks the end of all Magneto’s Page 2 Quests. After you complete all the above quests, you’ll be rewarded with the Classic Magneto Style for the Wastelander Magneto Skin.
