Cursed Gear is an action Roblox RPG experience inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen and NieR. In this game, you can dive into large-scale Expeditions while also optimizing your build along the way. However, the true strength of your build ultimately depends on the grade rank.

The Grade rank system plays a key role in defining your character’s overall power. Advancing through exams and leveling up allows you to rise through stronger grades, which further helps enhance your build. So, if you want to become stronger and better, here’s a complete guide to the grade system in Cursed Gear.

      Grades Explained in Cursed Gear

In Cursed Gear, Grades serve as a measure of both your combat standing and overall progression. Moving up through the Grade ranks grants significant bonuses that enhance stat scaling and increase your character’s Cybernetic Load. Cybernetic Load controls how many upgrades you can equip, so higher Grades allow more advanced builds and better combat performance.

Once you reach Grade 4, progression shifts away from basic leveling and becomes more competitive. From this point, ranking up depends on clearing Grade Exams, which take place every 30 minutes. To rank up, you must secure victories in multiple PvP encounters.

Moreover, your Grade is also closely connected to the Heian Rating (HR) system, the game’s PvP ranking ladder. Winning fights against others increases your HR, while defeats will cause it to drop.

All Grade Ranks & Their Buffs

Progressing through each grade rank grants you certain buffs and effects. Below, we’ve provided a table with all the grades and their respective bonuses and effects in Cursed Gear.

How to Increase Grade in Gursed Gear

Your first Grade advancement happens automatically at Level 25, promoting you to Grade 4. Beyond this milestone, further promotions can only be achieved by clearing Grade Exams. These exams are competitive PvP events that take place every 30 minutes.

Each session groups eight players who compete in one-on-one matches. Only the two finalists who remain at the end of the tournament secure promotion to the next Grade. Moreover, exams are divided into level ranges that scale in 50-level increments to ensure balanced matchups.

However, keep in mind that failing exams consistently can result in being demoted from your current Grade. Additionally, winning an exam triggers a one-hour cooldown before you can participate again, while a loss results in a shorter fifteen-minute cooldown.

      All Grade Exams & Requirements

Progressing through grades requires you to meet certain requirements first. Below, we’ve provided a table with all the grades and their requirements in Cursed Gear.
