Construction Derby is the fourth planet in the Gorilla Nebula, unlocked after you finish Creamy Canyon in Astro Bot. This stage has a more industrial, obstacle-heavy environment compared to earlier levels. Like other planets, Construction Derby also has seven Bots and three Puzzle Pieces for you to collect, though it lacks a Lost Galaxy Warp this time.

To get a 100 percent completion in this stage, you need to rescue all the hidden Bots and collect the Puzzle Pieces. Doing this can be quite time-consuming and difficult on your own. Lucky for you, this Construction Derby Astro Bot walkthrough will make the challenges a cakewalk.
Construction Derby Puzzle Piece #1
The first puzzle piece will be right at the beginning of the level when you’re on the DualSense Speeder. Move your controller to fly around the obstacles and you’ll be able to notice the first Puzzle Piece between two yellow construction beams to the left.
Construction Derby Bot #1
Landing on a platform from the Dual Speeder, you’ll notice a Bot trying to hammer a ramp on top of a red construction beam. Jump up and hit the Bot to rescue it.
Construction Derby Bot #2
Head on to the next platform from the first Bot and you’ll come across a metal tin can with cables hanging below it. You’ll have to fight off a couple of enemies before you can rescue the Bot. Clear them out and pull the cables to rescue the second Bot.
Construction Derby Bot #3
Before you can rescue the third Bot, you’ll acquire the Rocket Dog companion for Astro. The Bot will be located above the platforms. Use Rocket Dog to boost to climb the platforms and rescue this Bot. It’ll be at the edge of one of the platforms.
Construction Derby Puzzle Piece #2
The second Puzzle Piece is in the area where you rescue the third Bot. At the right of the platform, you need to collect some scraps with a magnet and throw them at the crane with a magnet icon. This will lower the platform and you’ll be able to obtain the second Puzzle Piece with the help of Rocket Dog.
Construction Derby Bot #4
As you progress, you’ll come across the fourth Bot but he’ll be abducted by an alien. Follow the path of the alien and hit it with an attack to rescue the Bot.
Construction Derby Bot #5
You’ll encounter a Wrestler Bot on a platform after saving the fourth Bot. Defeat this enemy and slide down the colorful platforms to enter a new area. Here, you’ll have to operate a DualSense controller and use them to shoot water colors out of the canons to create new platforms. Climb up to rescue the fifth Bot, which is the PaRappa The Rapper Bot.
Construction Derby Bot #6
Progress along the level to find a second Wrestler Bot. Eliminate it and boost up the hovering truck with the help of Rocket Dog to rescue the sixth Bot.
Construction Derby Puzzle Piece #3
Near the end of the level, you’ll come across a platform with Rabbit enemies on it. Defeat them and drop down below the platform to find blocks with green carvings. Push the blocks down using Astro’s Jets to reveal the final Puzzle Piece of Construction Derby.
Construction Derby Bot #7
The final Bot of Construction Derby is located on the platform on the other side. Follow the platforms with the rotating glass to the other side and you’ll notice that the final Bot is hanging upside down. Hit the bot to rescue it and you’ll notice that it’s Lammy from PaRappa The Rapper series.
