Making it big as a rapper in BitLife is harder than it sounds. Between grinding vocal lessons and slowly building fame, it takes patience and strategy to make your character the next rap icon. But if you follow the right steps, you’ll hit stardom in no time.
There’s a fair bit of RNG involved, especially when it comes to getting the “rap” genre offer. Still, you can improve your odds with a focused build and a little planning. This guide breaks down everything you need to do to become a famous rapper in BitLife.
How To Become A Famous Rapper In BitLife
There are two parts to becoming a Famous Rapper in BitLife, the first of which is becoming a rapper and the latter is to become famous. Here’s how you can do both, and that too chronologically.
How To Become A Rapper
To start a rap career in BitLife, you must purchase the Musician Special Career Pack. This is a paid add-on available through the in-game marketplace, and it unlocks the musician’s career path.
You can also buy Boss Mode to access all career packs at once. Once you own the musician pack, follow these steps to become a rapper:
- Go to Activities > Mind & Body > Voice Lessons and take classes regularly to build your singing skills to 90–100%.
- If your character is a child or teen, voice lessons are free with parental approval.
- Consider rerolling until your character has the Music Special Talent. This makes skill training faster, although it doesn’t guarantee rap contracts.
- After reaching a high singing skill, go to Occupation > Special Careers > Musician and apply as a solo artist.
- If your audition is successful, you’ll receive a record label contract. The contract will list a genre. Decline it if it’s not rap, and try again next year
Once you sign a contract with the rap genre, congrats since you’re officially a rapper in BitLife. Now, you can move on to the part of becoming famous.
How To Become Famous
Now that you’ve become a rapper, your next goal is to gain fame. There are two main methods, which you need to follow in order to become famous:
- Instant Fame with Hollywood Star
If you own the Hollywood Star item from the BitLife marketplace, you can use it to become famous immediately. Fame activates within a year or after releasing an album. - Work Your Way Up
Without shortcuts, fame comes with consistent effort:- Release albums regularly.
- Go on tours to increase popularity.
- Avoid scandals and maintain a good public image.
Over time, you’ll receive a pop-up stating that you’re now a famous rapper. This unlocks new fame-based activities under the Activities > Fame tab, including social media promotions, commercials, talk shows, and more.
