How to Tame Kitty Bat
Once you have at least 10 Yarn Apples, wait for the Kitty Bats to spawn. Once they spawn, hold a Yarn apple and stand still. Wait for the Kitty Bat to approach you. Once the pet sits near you, you have to interact with it to start a minigame.
This is where you will have to focus. The mini-game has a slider of a Yarn Apple with a Kitty Bat icon in the middle. You have to click the Yarn Apple slider when it is on the top of the Kitty Bat icon.
If you are able to align the slider with the icon, you will gain 10% of Kitty Bat’s trust. Losing the game will increase the trust by 5%. After gaining 100% progress in the minigame, you will be able to unlock the Kitty Bat for free.

This cute creature has features of a kitten, but also has the spookiness of Halloween, which is the very theme of this new update. The Kitty Bat comes with abilities, unique neon, and mega neon appearances, and a high trading value.
The Legendary Kitty Bat features standard legendary pet tricks like Sit, Joyful, Beg, Jump, Trick 1, and Trick 2. The Neon appearance glows orange on wing membranes, inner ears, whiskers, nose, fangs, claws, back feet, and tail tip. The Mega neon appearance glows rainbow-cycling colours in the same areas.
How to Get Yarn Apples in Adopt Me
These cute creatures can be tamed by using yarn apples, and you need to have ten of them in your inventory. Lucky for you, they can be found near the Mushroom Pond area, where the Kitty Bats normally spawn. Kitty Bats spawn every 17th and 47th minute of the hour.
So, start your preparations as soon as possible, as collecting yarn apples can take an hour or so. You can get yarn apples from Trick or Treat Bags, which you earn after completing 50 or more doors during the new minigame event. You will get an 8% chance to get x1 Yarn Apple or a 2% chance to get x3 Yarn Apples.
However, you will also receive a freebie Yarn Apple in your Mailbox just for logging in during the Halloween Event! So, make sure to claim it before the season ends.
How to Use Yarn Apples
After collecting a sufficient amount of Yarn Apples, you will then wait for the Kitty Bats to spawn. As they start to spawn, you will have to stay very still. Hold a Yarn Apple in your hand while you are standing.
Let the Kitty Bat approach you. Once it approaches you, interact with it to start a minigame. The minigame has a slider of a Yarn apple and an icon of Kitty Bat. You will need to align the slider with the icon to gain progression.
If you align the slider with the icon, you will gain 10% of Kitty Bat’s trust. If you miss it, you will get 5%. This means that if you fail to align the slider with the icon, you will need more than 10 apples.
